Course Leaders

We are always looking for people ready to take up the challenge of teaching this exciting course. Becoming a Course Leader gives you the opportunity to play your part in making our world a safer place, in which people of all faiths and cultures understand and respect one another.

  • You don't have to be a theologian to lead an Awareness Course.
  • You don't have to be a priest.
  • If you have taught or presented before, then you should be able to lead an Awareness Course!

The course materials have been prepared specifically for ease of teaching, but don't expect an unchallenging experience!

The Awareness Course consists of six course modules. Each course module comprises eight sessions, each of which we suggest lasts for 90 minutes. Each session includes warm-up questions, discussion topics and ‘take away’ activities that allow participants to share their own insight and experience; this turns information into formation.

The Course Book is written around a user-friendly course structure, designed for maximum adaptability and easy contextualisation, and is packed with useful teaching aids. The Course Companion combines Powerpoint slides with bullet points from the Course Book to produce a unique teaching tool that greatly assists with preparation and leading the session.

Each standard Course Pack contains:

  • 1 full colour Course Book
  • 1 full colour Course Companion
  • 20 Study Packs (more available on request)
  • High quality Powerpoint presentation for each session
  • Sample marketing materials

Extra Study Packs can easily be obtained at a low cost.
Plus:

  • support by email and telephone
  • Course Leader's Forum
