Lecture asks "Is Jesus God, and does it matter?"

Bishop Michael and Father Nadim spoke to a packed hall at an invitation-only event in the heart of London last night on the controversial topic "Is Jesus God, and does it matter?".

The evening began with refreshments and a chance to get to know each other, before the audience moved into the hall for the lecture itself. Billed as lasting an hour, the many questions from a rapt audience ensured that the actual length of the lecture was at least an hour and a half!

Summing up the evening, Father Nadim said, "It is vitally important today that we deal with the controversial questions in order to help ourselves go deeper in our faith. Jesus is God, and it does matter!"

At the end of the evening, all those present were invited to join Father Nadim in celebrating his birthday, which fell on the day of the lecture.
