'Speak Out!' - Our new workshop

Our free workshop is now available for YOUR church!

Sayed Ali Abbas Razawi

Speak Out! is a new free workshop for churches, cathedrals, chaplaincies and house groups on 'How to articulate our faith, and why'. The workshop can be taught over half a day - see the box on the left - or over a full day as you require.

Speak Out! is designed:

  1. to help participants understand the need for us to be able to speak about our faith to others, especially in today's increasingly diverse world,
  2. to reassure participants that a genuine expression of faith will never 'offend others', and
  3. to guide participants in how to articulate their faith whilst retaining respect for all people, whether they belong to another faith or none.

The Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin

The workshop features powerful videos with speakers from the three Abrahamic faiths; it enables participants to spread the message that our faith matters, and that the true values of the Abrahamic faiths are love, forgiveness, respect and understanding.

“Speaking out means sharing our faith and what it means to us. Christians must be able to speak out with authority about their faith and how it applies to the real issues of the day,” says The Revd Nadim Nassar, the Director of the Awareness Foundation, author of the course materials and lead presenter on the teaching videos.

Speak Out! has been found to work exceptionally well both with churches and ecumenical groups, enabling established Christians and those newer to faith to share their beliefs together, often for the first time.

Speak Out! can be used as an ideal follow-up after an initial nurture course.
